DRAMA FACTORY was founded in Lancaster in 1990 by David Ash and Ginny Scott. The weekly after school classes aim to introduce pupils to performance skills. Improvisation, movement, mime, voice and speech work help build confidence and communication skills in many areas of life as well as drama.
Each year pupils are given the opportunity to sit the prestigious L.A.M.D.A. examinations at our own local centre. Theatre visits are arranged and many students are involved in a wide range of local and national events. Some of our students have gone on to train professionally and others have appeared in television and films. Recent local involvement has been with amateur societies at the Grand Theatre, Lancaster.
Classes take place in Lancaster, Morecambe, Carnforth, and Hala, weekly during school term.
Elementary 6 to 8 years, Junior 9 to 12, Senior 13 to 15 and Advanced 16+
