IMPROVISATION
FOR WORK, REST AND PLAY.
Improvisation is now being used by more and more organisations as a way of developing creativity, by learning to improvise it can help not only the actor on stage, but also everyone, in their work, and in their relationships with others.
For the actor it gives a freedom and an understanding of your role in scripted drama. Simple rules show how to “be in the moment”. This fascinates an audience and gives your acting a vitality and spontaneity it may have lacked.
In these classes we will learn the basic rules of improvisation, which can be used in all aspects of our lives. We meet each Monday and perform shows in and around the North West.. David Ash is a leading exponent of this form of theatre, and has worked with Improv groups here and in the U.S.A. Anyone welcome age 17+

Improvisation is a form of theatre that does not use a script to create a performance.
From an audience suggestion the players then create a scene by making it up as they perform it
